Yad Rachel is committed to being a national leader in developing and implementing therapeutic–educational programs for children and families at risk. As part of this vision, we operate a comprehensive Research, Development, and Training unit that refines, deepens, and advances the therapeutic approach we have shaped over 40 years of professional practice.
Research
At Yad Rachel, we operate with a continuous mindset of inquiry
and self-reflection. This mindset is expressed at all levels of
therapeutic work: from observing organizational-wide clinical
trends to each staff member examining and reflecting on their
personal therapeutic practice as an integral part of daily work.
Over the years, we have developed a therapeutic framework that
includes a monitoring and evaluation system designed to support
data-driven treatment. This system has been integrated into a
network-based digital platform within the CRM system we
developed. The data we collect will enable ongoing research into
our therapeutic processes in the years ahead.
Development
Developing an Updated Therapeutic Framework
We are developing an innovative therapeutic model represented
by the Hebrew acronym MATMON a Focused and Data-Based
Therapeutic System. The Hebrew word Matmon carries a layered
meaning. A matmon is a hidden treasure something precious that
is revealed only through exploration, inquiry, patience, and precise
work. We chose the name MATMON for our therapeutic model
because it reflects the essence of our approach a continuous
search for the most effective and tailored therapeutic response for
each client and family. To read more about Yad Rachel’s
therapeutic approach.
Developing New Treatment Programs
Within the MATMON model, we continuously develop new
therapeutic programs tailored to the unique needs of our clients.
These programs are implemented daily across the organization’s
frameworks, combining creativity and innovation with structured
and profound therapeutic thinking.
Developing Diverse Therapeutic Settings
We invest significant resources in creating a variety of unique
therapeutic environments that provide optimal support for different
client populations. In recent years, this includes the development
of Developing a Digital CRM-Based Clinical Data System Over
the past two years, we have built a CRM-based system that
integrates client case files, daily therapeutic documentation, and
monitoring & evaluation tools. The system supports therapists in
their daily work and enables managers, team leaders, and
program directors to view broad, cross-organizational therapeutic
processes.
Training
As part of our expectation that every team member continuously
reflects on and evaluates their work, all therapeutic staff at Yad
Rachel receive ongoing, structured training and supervision. This
system provides a strong theoretical foundation alongside deep
processes of professional development and self-reflection.
The training system includes weekly individual supervision
Weekly team meetings in every program. Group supervision for
topics such as managerial development, team-leader training, and
the role of coordinators and social workers. Annual preparation
and training days at the start of each school year. An annual
organizational training conference with leading experts in Israel
Team-building activities aimed at strengthening cohesion and
organizational belonging
Looking Outward
As part of developing an innovative and updated therapeutic
approach and responding to evolving social realities we take upon
ourselves the mission of disseminating and embedding our
methodology in community-based therapeutic settings.
We strive to expand our training and consultation services in
collaboration with these frameworks.
