The Yad Rachel Association is a leader in the development and operation of therapeutic and educational programs for families and children in at-risk situations, enabling them to deal more successfully with life's challenges.
Yad Rachel operates a network of therapeutic after-school centers across the country as part of our community-based support system. These centers serve a wide range of children, each with unique characteristics and needs that require personalized attention.
Yad Rachel is one of Israel’s leading organizations in developing and implementing therapeutic–educational programs for children and families at risk across all sectors of society.
The Yad Rachel Parent Child Center is a comprehensive, multi- professional therapeutic center designed for children and their parents.
Yad Rachel is committed to being a national leader in developing
and implementing therapeutic–educational programs for children
and families at risk. As part of this vision, we operate a
comprehensive Research, Development, and Training unit that
refines, deepens, and advances the therapeutic approach we have
shaped over 40 years of professional practice.

Every year, we treat over 2,500 beneficiaries through the wide range of treatment programs at Yad Rachel Communities we work with: Jewish Religious, Secular, Haredim Arab, People seeking asylum.
We operate across the country mainly in central and southern Israel serving seven different municipalities and local authorities.
About 80% of our Centers’ families report meaningful progress in the family’s ability to communicate and establish an emotional connection between members. Most families also report an increase in their abilities to maintain behavioral rules at home, to provide children with proper daily care and to communicate more effectively with their child’s educators and social welfare authorities. In the long-term, we aim for our children to become mature adults who establish functional families and integrate successfully into the work force.
Our partners include family foundations, corporations, ministry, and government entities. We believe in the government’s responsibility towards its children and therefore, the government strongly supports most of our projects. In our experience, a strategic philanthropic coalition working in conjunction with the government is a proven model for achieving significant long-term impact
